Hi

I have an application that sends PCL commands to an HP printer as part of
the print job however in Terminal Services these get printed as text using
universal print drivers like Uniprint or Print-IT.

Is there way to send PCL commands to remote printers under Terminal
Services?

Use the HP universal printer driver on your TS. This one works well.

Hi

I did try that and it did not work. The application usually talks directly
to the printer so it appears that the printer driver is not catching the
data. It works fine as long as the printer is connected to the Terminal
Server but not if the printer is at a remote site using the Internet.

Re: How to send PCL Commands to Remote Printers.

Hi,
You can use virtual channel to develop a driver, your application will send
PCL command
to this driver and this driver will send to the printer.
