I know this isn't a Win XP question but I'm at a loss as where to ask about
this. I've bought two digital picture frames. Took the first back. Both
say they support avi and mp4 video formats. My Canon camera takes avi
movies. The files are VERY large so I use Quicktime and the h.264 codec to
convert them to mp4s. The quality and file size is a good compromise. Both
brands of dpf have problems. This latest one, ADS, won't recognize my sd
cards, won't transfer files from the computer to the digital frame and won't
recognize mp4 videos. Since both brands can't recognize the mp4 files I'm
wondering if it's because they're original mp4s (straight from the
camera)...I'm converting them from avi to mp4. Anyone have a suggestion for
a good, reliable brand of digital photo frames?
Thanks,
Monica
