Remote Desktop and Cut and Paste

Does anyone know how to resolve a problem with Cut and Pasting between one
Remote Desktop session and the active desktop? It should work but for me it
does not. I do a cut from a Word document inside the Remote session and then
open my Notepad on my own (active) desktop to paste it but it does not
paste....I've checked the Remote Desktop Options and Local Resources to make
sure I have the drives selected.
