"This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action.* Create an association in the Set Associations control panel."* From the Windows Vista operating system.* There exists no Set Associations control panel.* The file being double clicked has the filename extension .DOC.* That should not be a mystery to Windows.* In this case, it is.* Default Programs in Control Panel looks promising, but it doesn't list Microsoft Office Word as one of the possible programs an association can be created for.* Design-wise, this is a non-starter.* Help is no help because it has no idea what a Set Associations Control Panel is.
