I have a couple of locations that have Win2k3 servers that are setup as TS.
In TS license viewer, I see "Existing Windows 2000 Server - Terminal
Services CAL Token (per device)" and type=built-in and total/available shows
unlimited, issued=0.
However I also see "Temporary Licenses for Windows Server 2003 - Terminal
Server Per Device CAL Token" type=temporary, total/available= - and issued=26.
My question is, and this might be dumb on my part, but WHY is it not using
the win2k CALs? And if it isn't going to use them why are they there in the
first place?
My temporaries are about to expire, and I will further investigate that,
because supposedly licenses have been installed already.
