Hi! Running Vista Home Premium. Created a Folder (kept the name NEW FOLDER)
and began saving some pictures to it from some of my sailing websites. When
I right click on a picture, it automatically saves to that folder. Now I am
trying to make a slide show and when I go to the location of the folder, it
is not there.

I can go back to the "Save As" mode and find NEW FOLDER (I was also able to
right click and check properties...it is not hidden or read only). Then when
I go back to PowerPoint and try to insert a picture, I cannot locate the
folder. I also go through "COMPUTER", "PROGRAM FILES", etc. to the main
folder it is located in, but the NEW FOLDER is not there. It obviously exists
but I can only access it to save a picture. Any ideas??

Save them somewhere else, under your login folder
C:\Users\yourlogin\Pictures

Have you tried going through your user profile? Usually, when you save
pictures from Internet Explorer (which is what I'm assuming you've
done), it defaults to the "Pictures" folder. Whithout further details,
I'm again assuming that is where you created the "New Folder".

The default location for "Pictures" is
"C:\Users\<USER_PROFILE_NAME>\Pictures"
