I have a W2K SP 4 server set up as a file server to store roaming profiles.
The past admins did not ensure the "Allow caching of files in this shared
folder" check mark was cleared. This has caused profile issues for our users
and we end up rebuilding the profile.
Is there a registry setting that would ensure caching was disabled when a
new folder was created and/or ensure caching is not allowed on exisitng
folders? Any other ideas on how to turn off this feature without touching
each folder?
Please let me know if you need further info to help me out! TIA
