Automatic start of Windows Defender

Howdy!!! Quick question... I'm trying to have Windows Defender
automatically run at say 2am. Does this work when the laptop is turned off?
Does it turn it on then off again when its done?

Here's what you need to do:
1) Find the box the laptop came in;
2) Put the laptop in the box;
3) Wrap the box carefully;
4) Put the proper postage on it;
5) Take it to the Post Office and mail it back to the manufacturer!
