Hello,

Does anyone know if there is a place where I can get all available current
updates/patches/add-ons for XP without downloading them 1-by-1? I'd like to
create a "patched" version of a Windows XP installation CD with only the
drivers necessary for the target computer. It'd be like an OEM CD.

Thanks,
Brian

Do a Google search for RyanVM. I was playing with this a few days ago,
but I never got it right.

Re: All downloads?

AutoPatcher will do it http://www.autopatcher.com/forums/

Re: All downloads?

Security updates are available on ISO-9660 CD image files from the Microsoft Download
Center
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/913086

You can also download individual updates from the Catalog and save to be installed later.
http://catalog.update.microsoft.com/v7/site/Home.aspx

Click Add button for each update you want to download. Once you have what you want, Click
the "Go To Download Basket" link. Type in or browse to the location where you want the
updates saved to and then Click the "Download Now" button.
Once downloaded, you can then burn them to CD.

How to download updates and drivers from the Windows Update Catalog or from the Microsoft
Update Catalog

Re: All downloads?

Within the next few weeks MS will release Windows XP SP3 which will
contain all the hotfixes and updates issued thus far including some new
ones! You can download the RC version from here:

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...4C-8423-4386-AD98-36B124A720AA&displaylang=en

Please read the instructions before downloading this monster as it is a
pre-release version provided for testing purposes only. Using any other
third party site for your quick fix is not a good idea!

Hope this helps.
