Make sure the Sidebar is enabled and set to startup with the system.
Click Start > type "Windows Sidebar Properties" > check "Start Windows
Sidebar when Windows Starts" > click OK.
If you are experiencing the following error message:
Error "Windows Sidebar is managed by your system administrator" when you try
to open the Windows Sidebar:
