TS Multiple Licenese Type Issues

My enivonrment has a Windows 2000 Domain TS License Server running. A
Windows 2003 Enterprise License server was added to the domain but not
assigned any licences. This server had its Enterprise TS Licenesing
component uninstalled, and then removed from the domain. This caused our
existing systems to warn us that they couldn't locate their license server
and the client licenses were going to expire. I found the following article:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304080/en-us

which outlines how to undo a Domain TSLS that was changed to an Enterprise
TSLS. Since our original TSLS was never touched and the reg key outlined in
the article indicated a Domain TSLS, I removed the TS-Enterprise object from
our site thinking this would remove the Enterprise TSLS information from our
domain. It's been more than a day and other Terminal Servers are still
looking for the Enterprise license server and warning of license expiration,
and still showing that Enterprise License server's name in their license
server name dialogs. Is there something still in AD providing this info to
the terminal servers? I would like to try and resolve this without having to
touch the remaining Domain TSLS if possible. Any input is greatly
appreciated as I don't know where to look next.

TIA,

- SB

Re: TS Multiple Licenese Type Issues

You don’t need to delete the "TS-Enterprise" object, you can check following
link how to manually un-publish TSLS,
http://blogs.msdn.com/ts/archive/20...blishing-terminal-server-license-servers.aspx

Other thing, make sure you un-publish the TSLS from correct site. May be you
can check TS and TSLS are in same site.
