I have a server that i have made a terminal server operating in Per Device
Mode,
My Licenses server is on a seperate server, in the configuration i have
checked to see the correct server for licensing is being shown, which it is,
I have created a group called tsusers and added everybody that i want to
access the TS into this group, i have then added this group to allow logon
through terminal services under local policy, and also in the configuration
permissions. all is fine and users seem to be able to logon, i have activated
the license server, but under no circumstances do any Tempory licenses show
up.

The only one that is there is when i connected to license server from the
terminal server and the terminal server was issued one for 90 days.

This does not make sense

pleaseeee hELP

Re: Please urgent help needed

If the client already had a valid CAL (from previous successful connection
to a TS with valid per-device CAL) then no new CAL’s are issued unless the
old CAL expires. It is possible that the client already had a valid CAL.

Also can you check if there are other domain or enterprise License servers
available to this TS. It is possible that the TS is contacting another
License Server.

You can also add the license server name as a manual entry in tsconfig.
