I us a critical windows application on my desktop that I have installed on my
laptop. My laptop runs Win 98 2ed. I must update the critical appliction on
my laptop, but to do this must install msiinst30. When I tried to do this I
get the message that I am missing NTDLL:DLLNtOpenProcess Token. What does
this mean and how do I get past this?

Thank you.

Re: installer

What it wants is Windows Installer 3.0, and that isn't supported on Windows
9x systems (95 thru ME). In short, you have to upgrade to at least Windows
2000 before you can install the update for your critical app.
