I'm using Windows Vista 64 bit software with 2 internal hard drives, C and D.
The icon on my D drive suddenly changed in Windows Explorer. The icon now
looks like a control panel ison, not the standard icon for a hard drive. My
C drive and external disks icons remain okay, it hasn't changed. Anyone know
how I can bring back the original icon of my D drive?

Thanks.

Re: Hard Disk Drive Icon

IME, these things fix themselves over time - most commonly after a reboot.

RE: Hard Disk Drive Icon

From what I can remember Neosmart (http://neosmart.net/) had an x64 version
of TweakUI for XP x64.
Here's one download link I found with Google:

You can use the "rebuild icons" options to restore things back to normal
again.
