I have a Toshiba Satellite a135-s4407 and am still missing my cd/dvd drive.
If I open device manager and check for hardware it says that there is a
TQSTcrmrp CD/DVDW TQ-L612d ATA Device and that my driver files are:
c:\windows\system32\drivers\cdrom.sys
and
c:\windows\system32\drivers\tdcmdpst.sys.
Both are checked on the Driver Files Detail box.
Tried uninstalling and restarting, restore, update drivers, filters(don't have
upper or lower in registry).
So the device is found but it says it is a cd-rom or dosen't show at all.
When I try to manually change the driver I can't select a .sys file it only
gives me a choice for .inf and dosen't show any files in the driver folder.
How do I fix this or get access to the right driver?
Thanks
