Hi,
I just got this laptop out of the box and the drivers are all up to
date. I have issues shutting down about 70% of the time. It takes
forever and sometimes doesn't shutdown at all. When it reboots I get a
bluescreen. I tried following the link to the microsoft website but it
was no help.

This is the message log: Please help me! :(

It is brand new; it is under Warranty.
Take it back straight away.

Re: New PC: Blue Screen of Death! Help Please!

Hi,

As Mick has noted, as this is a new machine you should exercise your
warranty. Too few people do.

As a point of information, the error is related to a driver file. This could
be one that supports the hardware, or one that supports installed software
such as your antivirus product. If the manufacturer is unable to quickly
resolve it (and it may be a known issue that is easily resolved, but you
have to contact them and ask), return it.
