MSCS on TS server?

Anyone every tried to make a single-node MSCS cluster out of each TS
in the farm?

I hate services - I suck at writing them. Its a lot easier for me to
develop bots/tools for monitoring and whatnot if I make them desktop-
interactive and just run it with local admin rights.

At the moment, for said bots/tools, I log into a console session, and
start them. Its a problem if the box reboots do to updates or
scheduled restart and I'm sleeping so I can't log in to strt said
bots.

Now, MSCS has that generic application resource which I have found to
be rather awesome on our multi-node file and database clusters....it
can start my bot with or without a console session logged in, yet when
I do log in that bot becomes interactive with the console session -
the best of both worlds: always-runs service-like w/ automated crash
recovery, and at same time can still have forms w/ buttons and crap I
can interact with for odd, special tasks.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

Mike

Re: MSCS on TS server?

I don't see why a single node resource would not work. Have you tried the
setup you've described?

Thanks,
Roman
