Just yesterday I deleted 5 folders that were 3 to 4 GB in size. When I went
to the recycle bin to permanently delete these folders only one was there. I
deleted the one and recovered that bit of drive space, however the other ones
are no where to be find even using the search option. It also appears that
the folders aren't deleted as I have not yet recovered the rest of my drive
space. Went through cleaning up disk space and still no luck please help!

Hi,

Do a defrag. Large folders are not sent to the recycle bin, they are deleted
completely (normally there is a confirmation warning about this). Sometimes
though, the space they occupy is not marked as available immediately.
