I am running XP and seem to be having a problem with the Crypt32.dll file. I
get error messages that say "The proceedure entry point CryptSignAndEncodeCe
could not be located in the dynamic library CRYPT32.dll" This seems to be
effecting certain applications, most particularly Internet Explorer. ( I
have IE 7) When I click on a link which should open a new browser window, I
get a "Cant Locate that Page" error in the same window and no other window
opens. In fact, I had to post this question in Firefox because IE wouldnt
open a window for me to post in...just gave me the same " cant find that
page" error. How can I repair the Crypt32.dll file without having to take a
chance and have some site online that I dont know, offer to do a scan and fix
it for me for free?
