hi all,

in my active directory I use roaming profiles for all users, now I've
implemented a terminal server. Is it a way to not load roaming profile (I
want only the local profile) when they log on via terminal servicies on that
server?

Re: terminal server and roaming profiles

Yes, that's easiest done with a Group Policy:

Computer Configuration - Administrative Templates - System - User
profiles
"Force local profiles"

Note that you will have to make sure that you keep the profiles small
in size, otherwise you will be running out of disk space sooner or
later.

Re: terminal server and roaming profiles

Hi Vera,

thanks for the answer. Have I to create a separate OU for my terminal
server? Otherwise it covers the whole domain

Re: terminal server and roaming profiles

Yes. That's always the best thing to do, sooner or later there will
be other settings that must be applied only to your TS.
