Copying data crashes server

I have a server that when users RDP to it and try to move data from local
drives to drives on the terminal server, the server blue screens and
restarts. The error in the event viewer is:

0x0000007e (0xc0000005, 0x00000000, 0xa15bc17c, 0xa15bbe78)

Anybody got any ideas?

Here's the troubleshooting information for Bug Check Code 0x7E:
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms795746.aspx

To get more info, check the EventLog to see if it mentions the
offending driver (if it's a faulty driver, but that would be my
first guess). Or configure the server to *not* reboot but HALT on a
critical error, that might list the driver on the blue screen.

Are you running any Anti-virus software on the server? If so, I
would start by completely disabling this and see if that helps.

Thanks Vera,

There are no drivers listed in the error or event viewer. I cannot turn off
the AV as it is a web server and it is the developer who is uploading his new
code. I will make the change for it to halt instead of reboot to see if it
tells what driver is causing it, if it is a driver.

I have set it up to halt as requested, but there is nothing else listed apart
from the original error message. I have also tested it with the AV turned
off, but it is still crashing.

Anything else I should be looking for?

Is there a size limit when copying files during a TS session? If so, where
is it set?

I have tested this with different files and it works ok with text files, but
if i try to copy over a folder or zip file, it crashes. Cannot understand
why this is happening.

Then you'll either have to do the debugging yourself, or call
Microsoft support.
