Currently have a Windows 2K3 Terminal Server as a member of a Workgroup with
about 20 device licenses (it was it's own license server). This has been
working well for over a year. We will be implementing a Windows Small Bus
2K3 server shortly. As I want to do this properly (*grin*) I want to put the
terminal server on the new domain. What will happen after the TS joins the
domain? What will need to be done to ensure that the 20 licenses will be
available and the application that the TS shares will work properly?

TIA!

RE: Going from Workgroup to Domain

I *want* to say that it shouldn't matter. But it is possible that you would
need to call or contact Microsoft and reactivate this TS after it joins the
domain. I would tend to doubt that this would happen.

I'm interested in this as well, if a definitive answer is made here.
