Hello,
I'm hoping someone in here can help me resolve this issue. I have a W2K
adv. server w/SP4 as my DC. On the network I have both w2k and XP clients.
For the XP clients only I am receiving the following warning in the System
event log:
-----begin warning-----
Source: LSASRV
category: SPNEGO (Negotiator)
Event ID: 40961
Description:
The Security System could not establish a secured connection with the
server ldap/<server>.<domain>/<domain>@<domain>. No authentication protocol
was available.
-----end warning-----
I also receive the following error in the application log for the same
dates and times as the above warning.
-----begin error-----
Source: Userenv
category: None
Event ID: 1030
Description:
Windows cannot query for the list of Group Policy objects. A message
that describes the reason for this was previously logged by the policy
engine.
-----end error-----
So far I have been unable to locate a solution to this online, any help
would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott
