Hi all,

I've a Windows 2003 Server R2 Enterprise Edition SP2 with terminal services
installed, I've set this server's licensing mode as "per user". I've a
Windows 2003 Server R2 Standard Edition SP2 with licensing server installed,
I've bought 10 TSCAL "per user" and installed on it. Into the terminal
server configuration I've specified that the license server hav not to be
discovered automatically but it have to be the machine on wich I've
installed the license server, all things seems to work fine.
In my license server I see that all 10 TSCAL are "available" but there are
several days that at least 6 user access the terminal server, what's wrong?

Re: Per user licensing

Andrea,
TS CAL "Per user" licensing in Windows Server 2003 TS is still functioning
as "honor" system - so there is no built-in license usage tracking
mechanism. You, as the system admin, are responsible for making sure that
the number of TS users does not exceed the number of "per user" TS CALs you
have purchased...
