w98se, my menu has been overtaken by a glut of unnecessary items. Tweak UI
will remove them but a warning states (You need to reinstall program
responsible --- to restore the template). I do not know if this is the only or
safest way to remove these items? Thank you.

Some can be found in C:\WINDOWS\SendTo\, others are strictly contained in
the registry. Depends upon what it is and what its function requires.
Teakui is warning that to restore the context item will likely require
re-installing [or re-configuring via Options or otherwise] the application
or function that was removed. This presumes you are actually discussing
'context' menus and not 'content' menus.

Thanks for the reply; I am discussing 'context' menus. Based on your reply I
assume the warning will not cause a problem unless I want to restore that item
back to the context menu, an example would be if I never use the menu it would
not be missed?

Yes, that's generally the outcome. The caveat is it MAY break some
functions, though that is rarely the case.
