I just got a brand new laptop and went to install the synctoy 2.0 beta I was
using before on my previous laptop. Now when I try and run it, I get an
error that says it needs to close. if I look in the event log I get an error
for .Net Runtime 2.0 error. Shown below. On this machine I have the
following installed:
SQL 2005
VS 2005
and some other applications. I saw some posts other places that talked
about other people getting crashes for an inability to view performance
counters. I'm not sure how this would be related and don't know why it would
work on my previous laptop, my desktop machine, but not on this one when they
all have the same applications installed.
