Read many of the posts, but not seeing this one addressed yet:

Went through default installation of TS and TLS and it set up licenses as
per device. Unfortunately, we want (and purchased) User CALs. The server
went ahead and assigned the licenses as device licenses. Now, to switch, do
I still need to call the clearinghouse? If not, how do I "revoke" the 5
licenses that have been assigned to Machines and change to per user?

Thanks and regards,
Ron

Re: New Twist on Device/User License issue

If these are only temporary Per Device CALs, you don't need to do anything,
beyond switching the TS to Per User licensing.

The only way to get permanent Per Device CALs, is to at some point install
Per Device CALs on the License Server. Did you do that? If so, where did
those come from?

Re: New Twist on Device/User License issue

It appears they were installed as device CALS on the license server, but
checking the actualy Open License confirmation they were purchased as User
CALs. The machine has assigned the 5 device CALs. I don't want device CALs.

Any assistance is appreciated.

Re: New Twist on Device/User License issue

Call the Clearinghouse. (Run the wizard and choose Telephone method to get
the phone number.)
