I have a TS license server (windows 2003) and I pointed a windows server 2003
R2 to it to get TS CALs, but it keeps stating no available licenses, even
thought it has 40 plus licenses available, do I need a seprate windows 2003
R2 terminal server licensing server, or should the terminal server licensing
server (non R2) work?
I know you couldn`t use a 2000 TS license server for 2003 so am thinking you
can`t use a 2003 for 2003 R2?

Thanks in advance.

No, that's no problem. R2 or not are completely compatible.
Which type of licenses did you install, Per User or Per Device? And
is the 2003 R2 TS configured to use the same licensing mode as the
type of licenses you installed on the LS?
