Getting a handle on sidebar gadgets?

Is there any way to get a handle on the windows used for floating sidebar gadgets? That is, ones which aren't pinned to the sidebar itself, but floating elsewhere. There's a window titled "Windows Sidebar" and I've tried getting the child windows of that, but there are none. When I list all top level windows I don't see anything that looks like a gadget.

Any ideas?
