Is it safe to apply Windows Server 2003 SP2 on a Small Business Server 2003
install. I tried to apply the regular SP1 to a SBS once and broke it.

A lot of people have reported problems w/SP2 on SBS2003. I personally
haven't bothered with it yet on most of my servers - on one of them, it
removed the Help & Support service & I had to reregister it, no big deal.
Some people have experienced much larger problems.

However, note that you'll get the most expert help if you post in
microsoft.public.windows.server.sbs - this group is a general Windows server
group, and SBS is its own beastie.

You might try ditching the icky web interface to the groups & use a
newsreader instead....it's *much* better.

The following is from a post by MVP Malke ...

Re: SP2 on Small Business Server

I have installed it on one SBS 2003 SP1 server with no problems at all. This
is my test server. I haven't installed it on any production servers yet. See
