Good Morning and thanks in advance for you assistance. I work in a school
and have muliple network printers throughout labs in my building. I have all
of the printers configured on a dedicated W2K3 Print Server and then mapped
within each lab for the printers I wish them to have when they logon. I
would like to redirect the jobs to the teachers workstation so she can
approve and allow to continue to the printer device. I have this running in
another lab that has high end Xerox printers that come with dedicated SUN
machines that are running software to do this. I redirected the printer
through the ports > configure tab and point it to a queue name and port
number which is already listening based on the software pre installed on
those management systems. But how can I do this for any printer? Running
HP2200 and Lexmark T630 and T640 printers. Teachers workstation is running
XP SP2.
Thanks,
