Hi !
sorry for my english, i'm french speaking.
This is a weird problem !
We have a (Server A) Win2K3 Ent. SP1 french TS where client can connect with
RDP without problem.
These client are:
1- Wyse terminal using RDP ver. 5.1
2- XP using RDP ver. 5.x
3- XP using RDP ver. 6
I installed similar server with Win2K3 Ent. SP1 french (Server B) with
latest hotfix like the first server (Server A).
Both TS are set to "application mode" and the client 1 and 2 (Wyse and RDP
5.x) cannot connect to the TS Server B, client 3 is OK. They received this
error message:
"Because of a security error, the client could not connect to the remote
computer. Verify that you are logged on to the network, and then try
connecting again".
The RDP setup on both server are identical and the LS (license server) is
the same for both servers. On the server B, if I uninstall "Terminal server"
service, so the server B is now set to administration mode (only 2 admin
connection), the client 1 and 2 can now connect. It's alway OK for the
client 3.
We found some case on microsoft web site, it was to remove some registry key
like "certificat", "certificatx509" on the TS ,we tried this without good
result.
Also, we think about communication problem between the TS and LS server so
we decided to try this: We used the 120 days trial when we install the TS
server, same problem so the problem is not between the TS and LS.
So... thanks for your help
