Hi,

Using windows server 2003 and terminal services. We have a program being
used per terminal services and that program checks valid licenses across our
network per IP. I need to find a way where each user on the terminal server
can be assigned different IP addresses so our third party program does not
see all the users with the same IP address. How can this be done?

Thanks

Hi Teri,

IP Addresses are per device and although a device can have multiple ip
addresses it's not recommened in most cases. In your case you cannot assign
an ip to a user account so it will not work. I suggest contacting the vendor
to see if they have a Terminal Server Workaround for this problem.

Thanks,

Scott

There are anumber of 3rd party products which solve this problem on
a TS. Citrix has this feature, but that's quite expensive. Check
this out:

Virtual IP - session-based IP addresses, from Provision Networks
