Copy/Paste Excel from Terminal 2003 to XP issue

Environment:

Enterprise 2003 R2SP2 - terminal server w/ excel, word, etc.

XP SP2 - TS client 6.0

Issue:

When clients connect to the terminal server, opens a excel sheet with data.
copy the data, minimize window and try to copy data to the client excel the
data will not copy. However data will copy from the client to the terminal
server session.



I checked the TS GPO, TS Configuration, XP TS client, and the users profiles
for anything disallowing the clipboard.

I have made sure under the TS Configuration I enabled the "virtual channel".
I also made sure the Hotfix 840872 was installed.

The last bit that trips me up is if I have the user connect to the terminal
server then disconnect, and then reconnect the copy/paste feature works
correctly. So what am I missing?

Any help is appreciated.
