An error keeps popping up lately with says "Generic Host Process for Win32
services has encountered a problem and needs to close." I click don't send
and the message box disappears. Anyone know what this error is about and how
to get it to stop popping up??

And a big thank you to PA Bear for all your help on this Group Questions

RE: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services

Thanks, Katy.

Windows version? How does your question relate to Windows Update?

That's a rather generic error, I'm afraid. What are you doing (or attempting
to do) when you get this error?

Re: Generic Host Process for Win32 Services

Hi KatyS,

The problem you are describing sometimes can be caused by the file
system, if it has errors in the file system.

Run Chkdsk with both options checked. Then report back.
