Not having that problem. I have two IDE channels, two HDDs one (eventually)
and a CDrom and DVDRW on the other.
Another strange thing has started happening. When the insall freezes, the
video goes off sometiimes.
Have check with another monitor, same thing. I know it's not a power issue,
well I hope not, as I forked out for a Corsair 750W PSU about three months
ago.
Thinking it may be the ram. Can you run MEMtest without any other harware
installed? (Obviously need a CDRom)
Hoping it's not the motherboard as I only got that six months ago
(Secondhand).
