Today no-one could print to their local printers from their TS sessions.
print jobs could be seen waiting in the print queue, no printing errors were
recorded in the printer info box or system event viewer.

The problem was resolved by restarting the server where upon all printers
started behaving normally.

Any ideas on what was wrong? Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks,

Brent

Re: Local printers problem

Sounds like the spooler service crashed.
If it happens again, try to only stop and restart the spooler
service.

The most common cause for this is 3rd aprty printer drivers on the
TS, which are not TS compatible.

Re: Local printers problem

That could well be the case on both your comments.

Thanks for the tip.
