Hey folks,
Rather than spamming the forums with each session notes, comments, etc, I'll use this one thread to post my recap of what I've seen so far with links to blow-by-blow sessions.
Session Notes
- Taking Xbox LIVE Arcade Games to the Next Level
- Rules of Engagement: Blizzard's Approach to Multiplayer Game Design
- WiiFit: Creating a Brand New Interface for the Home Console
- Top 10 Interesting Nuggets from the Microsoft GDC Keynote
Video Teaser
Soapbox video of playing games on the Zune (for whatever reason it can't embed the video)
Video: XNA Game Running on a Zune
Interviews
I'm hoping to get someone from Nintendo to talk about their WiiFit hardware, which I suspect will be very developer friendly (Coding4Fun .NET library hopefully). I'm also trying to talk to someone from Blizzard, ideally Rob Pardo tomorrow with any luck. I also want to talk to a few of the indy game developers.
XNA Questions
Now that you know about Xbox Live Community Games and the plans to enable game development on the Zune - Let us (Charles) know what questions we should ask the XNA team when we interview them.
