I find it irritating that the Favourites in Windows Explorer also include my
Internet Explorer Favourites - I do a lot of jumping between files and
directories and want to find them easily, without having to look at a mass
of irrelevant links.

I mean, I can't see the point of having Internet favourites in with Windows
directory favourites. It's extremely rare that I would need to jump directly
from a directory to an internet link. Either I'm doing one type of work or
the other - internet or file sorting.

I checked the "Folder Options" in windows Explorer and there doesn't appear
to be any option relevant to this.

Of course, the option might have to be to stop using Explorer all together
and go back to Firefox!

I'd be grateful for tips...

RE: Favourites in Windows Explorer - IE and Windows

You could make two folders - One "IE" and the other "WE", (in Fav's) and just
separate the shortcuts into two groups. [or put all the IE shortcuts in the
"Links" folder]
