I have a user that got a brand new laptop. I set him up just like any other
laptop on the network. In fact his was the third of its kind. When he runs
Remote Desktop his MINIMUM screen resolution is 1440x900. It will not go any
smaller. The Term Server is 1024x768. Everyone else can adjust to whatever
they want but, his will only go to much higher resolutions. The other like
laptops don't do this. Help save the poor mans eyes. What do I need to do.

RE: Lower Screen Resolution

The screen resolution of the Terminal Services Session is completely
determined by the client settings, before the session is created. The screen
resolution of the console session on the TS is not a factor.

One can set the screen resolution to a custom size via the /h: and /w:
switches to mstsc.exe. Do start -> run -> mstsc.exe /? for all of the options.
