Re: Remote Desktop to Win2k3 SBS freezes/pauses when moving mouse
Sorry for the delay.
I have tested all the possibilities, it appears this only happens when
connecting to this server via a Windows Vista desktop.
If I connect to the server via a Windows XP Virtual Machine (VMware) it runs
fine. I am connected to 3 other SBS 2003 servers and do not have this issue,
it appears to be Windows Vista to this one particular Windows 2003 SBS
server.
Just to clarify:
If I open the remote desktop System Manager opens full screen, if I click
the minimize button with the mouse, the button is highlighted but nothing
happens, after about 6 seconds the windows minimizes. If I then double click
on the Firefox icon on the desktop nothing happens for about 6 seconds then
the Firefox windows appears.
If, during this "constant" 6 second pause, I hit any key on the keyboard the
mouse action is carried out instantly as if I am doing a screen refresh.
Thanks,
PaulG.
