TS CAL in multi forest environment??

Hi

I have a very tricky question which I cannot seem to find the correct answer
to.

Perhaps some of you guys have been in a similar situation.

I maintain some different development and test environments for my company,
and right now we have 5 different windows test-domains/forests all running
their own citrix farm (just one server) in order for my dev. guys to test
their stuff in different setups.

I have around 25 dev guys with around 100 laptops and virtual machines
(mainly connected to the corporate domain), needing access to these citrix
servers.

The easy way to do this, was to simply just have one Workgroup MS TS license
server, and do the registry pointer from all citrix servers to this server,
and go with ~25 TS CAL's in user mode.

But is this the right approach for me, will it work - and is it even legal
to have several servers from different domains pull on the same license
server???

Hope you are able to help me, og point me to the right MS guy to talk to.

Best regards
Thue

Yes, placing your TS Licensing Server in a workgroup is the way to
solve this. And it's legal, no problems there.

server, or a licensing server outside its domain/workgroup?
