Hi,
An MS Auto Update happened this morning, and after I rebooted Internet
Explorer 7 and Outlook 2003 no longer connect to the internet. All other
apps such as Outlook Express, Firefox, Thunderbird, YahooIM, etc working fine.
With Outlook the error when I try to send and receive is "Receiving'
reported error (0x80040900) : 'The server name you entered can not be found
on the network (it might be down temporarily). Please verify that you are
online and that the server name is correct.'
With Explorer the error is "Internet Explorer cannot display the
webpage....." When I click on Diagnose Connection Problems it says
everything is fine.
Rebooted, checked all MS patches are upto date, internet connection is fine,
other apps working no problem. Its just these two programs that are not
working since the auto update.
Any advice will be greatfully received.
