Hi to all!
We have a cluster of SQL and access to it by Remote desktop client to run
one ERP application.
Locally we have a print server and map the printers our local machines.
Then when we run remote desktop client, mark the option local rources-
printers- to print to the local printers from the ERP.
The problem happens when in the session of the terminal server can see all
the local printers except the HP4700DN. This printer never appears mapped
and any local computer can print from ERP sited in the server what access
via remote desktop client.
Could someone assist me in this issue?

Thanks in advance,

David

Re: Hp 4700Dn not map in terminal server

Check in the EventLog on the server why the printer isn't
redirected.
Most likely cause (but verify this!) is that the server doesn't
have a driver for the printer, or that the driver name on the
printer differs slightly from the driver name on the client.

If that's the case, use this KB article to map the printer to the
correct driver:

239088 - Windows 2000 or Windows Server 2003 Terminal Services
server logs events 1111, 1105, and 1106

If you install the printer driver on the server, make sure that you
install *exactly* the version of the driver which is tested by HP
for Terminal Services:

HP Printers Supported in Citrix MetaFrame Presentation and Terminal
Server Environments
