Virtual Machines on USB Drive

Just loaded Vista Ent' 64bit and VPC 2007. Try to run a VM off a USB I get an
error implying in use by another process or read only. If I copy VM to a
local drive all is well.

XP Pro allowed me to do this. How do I fix the issue?

You don't. VPC has no USB support.

Theo,
I think that what the OP meant was that he placed the VM image on the USB
drive and was not able to run that image from there.
I don't think he was referring to USB access from the guest OS hosted by VPC.
Anyway, let's wait for him to clarify his post and then some VPC guru
(Colin?) to answer him.

I meant the VM image is on the UB drive. Anyway, I fixed the issue. I needed
to give Vista PC Users modify permission to my USB drive.
