SD card reader with Vista 64 bit

My Lexar Media card reader does not work with Vista 64 bit and Lexar told me
they don't make any card readers that work with 64 bit. What brand is
working on Vista 64 bit?

Hi, Barb.

My SanDisk simple one-slot SD-only reader works fine in my Vista Ultimate
x64 via USB 2.0. No special drivers or anything. It "just works" reading
the SD cards from my Nikon cameras - which are the only such media that I
have. (No CF or memory sticks or any other such media.)

Let's see, the bottom of the little device says, "ImageMate SD/MMC, model
SDDR-93"; it cost me $20 about 4 years ago.

I have both an SD reader and a CF reader that work fine on x64.
Please provide some details of the readers you have and your
computer.

I have a Mitsumi FA404M combo card reader/floppy drive that works fine with
Vista 64. I like the space savings, too.

Is this card being used in a camera? If so, try connecting the camera
directly to the computer via USB.
That's worked with my Nikon digital slr and Vista 64 bit.
