After Googling the Internet on this I noted that Vera Noest replied to
someone last July but the site's display was truncated. Can someone please
tell me the registry hack to shut of this warning.

Thank you.

You can prevent the security prompt by adding the following registry
key on the client:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Terminal Server Client\Local Devices

For each server name, create a REG_DWORD with a value of 1.
So if the server is called myserver.mydomain, create
"myserver.mydomain"=REG_DWORD:00000001.

Re: How to turn off "Do you trust the computer .." warning?

Hi, Vera. Thank you very much for (again) replying to my questions.
I tried this and it doesn't seem to work.
I have a Win2003 Small Business Server into which I connect via a Remote Web
Workplace connection. Upon entering the Username and Password I am given a
menu, of which one is "Connect to my Application Server". Clicking on this
gives a dropdown list of Application Servers available (of which there is
only one). Clicking on this is what gives the screen "Do you trust this
computer ...". So I have already logged onto the domain server but am
challenged when trying to connect to one of the computers (in this case the
Terminal services server) connected to the domain.
On my (client) computer (Vista Ultimate) I created the entry but it didn't
work.
May I take this offline with you and send you some screen shots? I am loath
to post these in the newsgroup as they identify the computers.
I will happily post a reply to the group with the resolution.
Thanks.

.... Rick

Re: How to turn off "Do you trust the computer .." warning?

I think you'd better post this in the SBS newsgroup, since SBS and
Remote Web Workplace are special for SBS. I don't know the first
thing about them.

Note that I made a typo in the registry entry, it should be
...\Terminal Server Client\LocalDevices

without a space in LocalDevices.

OK, Vera. I'll try on the SBS group.

Thanks anyway.
