Re: Remote desktop disconnects as soon as I log in

What OS and SP is your server running?
What OS and SP is your client ruuning?
Which version of the rdp client are you using?
Does this happen from multiple clients?
Does this happen when you connect to another server?
How long has this problem existed? If it started recently, was
anything changed on the server before it started? Installed new
application, Windows Update, etc?
Have you checked the EventLog on the server for any warnings or
errors at the time you try to connect?
Is the server configured as a Terminal Server, or has it only
Remote Desktop for Administration enabled?
If it is a Terminal Server, have you checked that the server can
locate a TS Licensing Server and that there is a free TS CAL
available (or that your client has been issued a TS CAL which is
still valid)?

sbs 2003 sp1
xp sp1 and xp sp2, I can not connect from any machine even other servers
what version of the rdp client ? I dont know, the one that comes with xp
Yes it happens from everyone
no, only this server
always, since server was installed
no errors in event viewer.
Server is small biz server 2003
I have at least 15 other sbs servers that this works on and we all setup the
same.

Re: Remote desktop disconnects as soon as I log in

Since the server runs SBS, you might get much better help in the
sbs newsgroup.

That said, the only thing that comes to mind is this issue, but I
don't know if it applies to SBS as well:

886212 - You are unexpectedly logged off when you try to connect to
a computer that is running Windows Server 2003 or Windows XP
