hi everyone,
I sold to one of my customer a new HP Server with Window Server 2003 R2 STD
x64 with a shared fax solution using the Shared Fax Service and a Broouktrout
True Fax 100 PCI (Microsoft certified) that won't work.
I have about 20 customer using the same fax board on 32bit Windows Server
but on 64bit i can't install the Brooktrout Share Fax Provider on the
Telephony Service...

the Brooktrout shared fax provider is usually embeeded into Windows Server
installation files but can microsoft have exclude it on x64 version???

any ideas??? any experience??

thanks a lot
Pier

Re: Fax service & Brooktrout Shared Fax Provider

Ask Brooktrout for a 64-bit driver.

Re: Fax service & Brooktrout Shared Fax Provider

Hi Paul
thak you for the post.

I've submit the request to Brooktrout (now Dialogic/Cantata) and i'm now
waiting for reply.

My dubt is that the provider should be embeeded in the Windows Server 2003
x64 files, because in 32bit OS installation no drivers in needed: during the
shared fax service installation with a Brooktrout board plugged in the PCI
slot the setup process automatically adds the required Provider.
No drivers is needed during installation...

see :
http://www.cantata.com/support/prod...mCategory=Download&frmKnowBaseID=1520&Level=2

anyway, i'm waiting the Dialogic reply.

Thaks a lot.
