Hey guys

I’ve been using Vista x64 for few days and well…it has not been a
smooth ride. All the problems I have with Vista are completely down to
video playback. This may be to do with divers or software compatibility
issue, but I just put my figure on it.

Vista sometime hangs when I play videos on PowerDVD 7 while adjusting
the AVIVO basic color settings. And during playback of DivX files, the
sound pops/crackles time to time. This occurs with PowerDVD’s own Divx
decoder, as well as with the official decoder.

This could be caused by CCC 8.3, but I can’t be for sure.

In case you’re interested, here’s my system's spec:

- Processor: Core 2 Duo E8200
- Main-board: Intel DP35DP
- System RAM: Corsair Value 2048MB DDR-667 1.8v (VS2GBKIT667D2)
- Graphics card: ASUS ATI HD3650 (I am only be using it to take
advantage of AVIVO/HD)
- Display: NEC MultiSync 1970NXp (with MVA panel) and Sony 26" BRAVIA
(with PVA panel)
- Sound system: Logitech X530 5.1 (for music only)
- PSU: Corsair HX520
- DVD-Burner: Pioneer DVR-215DBK (SATA)
- HDD: Samsung 500GB Spinpoint T166 HD501LJ
- Sound Card: Creative X-Fi XtremeMusic (the original version)
